What time are services? Sunday School for all ages meets at 9:45 and the morning Sunday Worship Service begins at 11:00 a.m. We also have Sunday night service at 6p.m. and Wednesday night prayer meeting & Bible classes at 7p.m. Back to Questions

Are there parking places reserved for first time guests? We have specially designated parking spaces near the Auidtorium, on Roselle Rd, the North side of the main building. During rainy or snowy weather, there is a canopy you can pull under for drop offs. We do encourage you to arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes early as services start on time. Back to Questions

Are your buildings and services handicap accessible? There is handicap access for wheel chairs. Hard of hearing assistance is available by asking the Information Desk for a device that connects to the Sound Board. Interpreters for the hearing impaired are available at all of our services. We also have people trained for special needs in our children's ministry. Back to Questions

What happens when I get there? Our Information Desk is just inside the main entrance. Our greeters will give you a bulletin and assist you in getting to your class or into the service.  Back to Questions

What children's programs are available? Our children's ministry offers Sunday School for children ages birth through 6th grade. We offer beginner church, JEMS primary church and COMPASS junior church for those who prefer to have children in a "children's church" service as they worship. On Wednesday nights our Kids for Christ [KFC] program offers a variety of children's choirs, Scripture memory, exciting activities, and Bible instruction. Back to Questions

What do I do before the service starts? If you arrive before the service starts, you will notice that our auditorium is filled with plenty of comfortable pews. There are no reserved seats, so you may sit anywhere. Many people will be greeting one another during this time. Back to Questions

What are the services like? Services generally last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Our worship services are a time of joyful worship and praise, with a variety of traditional songs provided by our choir and orchestra. Back to Questions

How will I know when to stand? The pastor or the music director will ask the congregation to stand or sit. Generally we stand while singing and during times of public prayer. Back to Questions

What is the pastor's message like? Our Pastor gives Bible-based messages lasting about 45 minutes. His messages are timely and applicable. Audio tapes and CDs of the message are also available immediately following the services. Back to Questions

Do you give public invitations at the end of the service? What are they like? At the end of his message, Pastor invites anyone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to accept Him as Savior. He will also ask those who would like to become part of our church family or to be baptized to make that known. Counseling is also available for other spiritual needs. Back to Questions

Do I need to donate money when I visit? Bethel Baptist Church does believe tithing is a Biblical principal and we do encourage it. However, our guests should not feel under any obligation to participate. During this time, if you have filled out the Guest Registration Form, we do ask you to drop it in the offering plate. What happens after the service? You can visit the Andrew Welcome Center to find more information on our many ministries and upcoming events. The pastor and other members will be there to make your acquaintance. Back to Questions

What small groups or Sunday School classes are offered on Sundays? We encourage people to check out our Bible Fellowship Groups in order to get to know other people. Classes are offered for all ages at 9:45 a.m. Greeters at the Information Desk can direct you to your room and will have the most updated list of adult, teen, children's and preschool classes and locations. They will also guide you to your rooms. This is where fellowship, encouragement, and the Word of God becomes real! Back to Questions
