Bethel is the place for children of all ages.  

Beginner church
Bible principles are taught through puppets, stories, and songs to the 4 and 5-year olds. 

Bus Ministry/Free Transportation
We provide free transportation to those in the surrounding communities.

Jems
Focusing on the needs of 1st – 4th graders learning the deep principles taught in Scriptures through stories, nature, and the Bible.

Compass Children’s Church
Building Christian character in our 5th and 6th graders.

Joy Club [4-5 year olds] and Kids For Christ [1st-6th graders]
These two programs are designed exclusively for children who attend our services on Wednesday nights. These programs meet for a time of music, preaching, and fun!

Pine Car Derby
Every year in March we put on a Pine Car Derby. This is a 2-day event where parents and children can compete for the best looking or fastest pine car. It's lots of fun, with various other booths and activities included. Mark your calendar now for the 9th Annual Pine Car Derby, March 7-8, 2008. See below for important dates to remember.

Neighborhood Bible Time [NBT]  
During the summer months our children's ministry kicks into high gear with an energy packed week of Neighborhood Bible Time (Bethel's VBS). For one week during the summer we bring in two evangelists with special training for work with children and teens. This Year's Bible time will be July 7-11, 2008; 6-9 p.m. nightly. Free for all ages.

Nursery
Our clean and safe nurseries allow parents to concentrate on what the Lord has for them while their children are being well cared for. CLICK HERE to download more information.

Junior Camp [Grades 4–7]
Everyone loves camp!! Camp Joy is our destination in Whitewater, Wisconsin, and we would love for your child to be a part of this exciting trip. All 4th-7th grade kids are invited for this special week where you say good-bye to mom and dad for five whole days. Don’t miss out on this jam-packed, fun-filled trip to camp!!! Next Year's Junior Camp will be June 16-21, 2008.

Day Camp [Grades 4–6]
Summer Day Camp at Bethel Baptist Church provides affordable summer care for those enrolled at Schaumburg Christian School and to others in our community. We have a strong emphasis on spiritual training and character development accomplished through daily Bible time and day-by-day experiences under the careful guidance of a counselor. Children are divided into grade level groups and will experience a variety of activities including creative arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor sports, and weekly field trips.

Sunday School
Our teachers have a passion for teaching the Word of God in a setting that best meets the needs of their students. Our classes are age divided, exciting, relevant, and Biblically sound.
